Asked them when they will be upgrading the Extreme to ICS 4.0.4, in order to fix issues and ensure their customer base received the best quality support.

Yep agreed. On their facebook page all they do is tell people to call customer service, when you do you get told to
email them.

Also Kevin, I am more than happy to help you install the .4 rom from here (once it's final and 100% stable), it's very easy to do.

Could somebody please tell me how the likes of us tabletly challenged are supposed to install these upgrades if they 're not provided by the seller, I would not have bought the tablet if I'd have know they wouldn't keep us informed of updates and easy instalation.

If you do the updates posted on here or anywhere else they are at your own risk. I am not sure but I think it's pretty hard to break these tablets through an update. As long as you make a backup you can always go back.

It's not straight forward to update though if you are not pretty tech savvy.

If there is a genuine problem with all extremes running slow I would hope they would release an official update. I think I saw a firmware update link on the storage options site for another tablet so it looks like they have done this in the past. Maybe an older scroller can confirm this?

I would complain to them. The more of us that do, the more chance of an update!

As for flashing the update yourself, its isnt difficult if you follow the instructions.

Have a look at the thread i posted and has been made a sticky, called "I give up".

Make sure you have a backup, and you can undo if needed.

Now suggsy is back online, i trust the later build will be coming, #nd his support is good.
