Anyone got Skype video calls working on the Extreme.

I can see the caller, but the can't see me, just a faint image behind loads of vertical colour lines, which seems to be noise.

At first thought it was the Extreme's camera's being rubbish but I downloaded Fringo on two devices (Extreme and an iPad) and that worked a treat. So don't think it is the camera, but suspect the Skype app. Anyone else got this problem, or not as the case may be and Skype working fine.

Thing is I have many friends and family on Skype for video calling, don't want to ask them all to switch to Fringo, probaby won't go down to well.

Be interesting to see if this something fixed by suggsy 4.0.4 build if anyone can confirm.

Skype works fine of the extreme, just not the latest version of skype. This should work.

I installed pwd3d 1.3v firmware and the latest Skype worked on that build.

Thanks rsocom, that works a treat. Little pixelated, but that's my experience of Skype anyway.

this was a great answer and got my skype working on extreme - however it keeps updating itself to the latest version that doesn't work!

By the way - the latest version works fine on my daughters excel.

Just to confirm the video on my Scroll Extreme, when using Skype, looks pants too.
