Thank you Ian, I agree although I don't see why the forum needs to be protected. All I asked for was to come and use the forum again after not really doing anything wrong in the first place - I was even told this was fine. This is what I have tried to do. I understand there may have been 'trolls' in the past but it's not my intention to cause problems on the forum, all I want to do is use it - pretty simple.

I notice that one member on here starts insulting disabled people and there is no warning or anything - I forget to put suggsy's name next to a link and 7 IP's later here we are.

Since the admin 'no long has the time' to talk about this there is not much else I can do.

Perhaps my use of the word protected was ill-advised - I purely meant that prhaps the aim was to limit any resultant discord.

Whilst I cant be certain, I would say that the post you mentioned was probably a heat of the moment one and I dont think it was meant with mallice.

I think you removing "Peirs" accounts is not having the desired affect. Instead, it is driving others away....

Can I suggest you stop deleting his account, allow him to re-register with a user name of his choice, knowing you wont block it.

I have found him friendly and previously a good and useful poster.

Give him one more chance, if after that he abuses the trust you have given him, then issue what ever sanctions you feel appropriate. But this continous, posting by him under an alias, you identifying it and blocking it, then the cycle starts again, is doing no one any good, and turning people away from what has been a good forum.

Lets ALL be grown up about this, and draw a line under it and move on.....

Hello Kevin, I appreciate your efforts in trying to help but unfortunately you are not in possesion of all the facts and I do not intend discussing them publicly or with anyone other than the moderators and the site owner.
I believe from what I have exchanged with you and read of your posts that you (like me) are of sufficient years to be wise and to have a well balanced considered opinion. Believe me when I tell you that at this time the only one who is being unfair is Piers. What Piers is claiming on the illicit nuisance posts in not balanced as he refuses to wait for a response from Admin. No one gets banned from this Forum without good reason. This is a great forum and I for one will do everything in my power to ensure it stays so. Piers claims a misunderstanding - well if he wants his actions to match his claims then all he needs to do is PM Admin and wait for his reply. Piers is not happy to do this and whether his actions are intentional or not, his persistant outbursts are only causing distress to the members. He has been told this but obviously he doesn't care.

I can only apologise most sincerely Kevin to you and all the other members, but if you were this side of the fence you would quickly realise that there is a lot more going on here than meets the eye. Meanwhile folks please ignore any postings from Piers otherwise you are playing straight into his hands. Yes I know, he had me fooled too and I am very sad as he obviously has a great deal of knowledge - unfortunately that appears also to be part of the problem.

I'm not a technical expert like you so I guess that I've found this forum to be really helpful teaching me how it all works. I like the extreme but I'm not expecting a lot of support from storage options so I'm one of many people relying on this forum so I will keep on supporting it whatever. I guess you're annoyed over stuff. I'm not asking why but all I'm saying is that you could walk away right now and you could stillget the best out of your tablet, while me and a lot of other normal users don't have that luxury. Can see your p'd off fella and not saying you should walk away, just that some of us bought this tablet cos its all we can afford, we're not tech or devs and we rely on the forum. Don't see the reason for bringing us into this really.

This is untrue - comunications have been exchanged but clearly Piers wants to cause you as much hassle as he can.
He has not complied with my requests to wait for Admin to contact him and is too impatient to wait.
Whatever chances Piers had of coming back to this Forum have been lost - he has deliberatley burned all his bridges and now wants to deny you this forums facilities.
