Did you get my message about baseband1.2? Also which kernal did you change to?

Hi Paul I tried that rom a week ago. I don't know why I didn't stick to it. Guess I didn't like it will have a look again at it tonight.

Hi suggsy, thanks for this but I tried to understand it but it all seemed so overwhelming. I guess I'll just have to live with my tablet the way it is. I was kinda looking for something I could just download, that's about my limit. If you ever do something like that , that I can just download will you let me know. I didn't know that SO wouldn't put out upgrades, as much as I love this tablet it would have made me think twice. We are not all au fait with programing .

The battery goes down as the tablet is being used on beta 0.8, but starngely every now and again rises again.

I there a way of taking a screen cpature of any app, as i may be able to attach a picture of the graph.

Strange  Maybe it uses radiowaves to charge up a little

Screen capture is built into the rom, hold "power" for a secont then hold "vol-" it will save a screen shot.

Sorry cant get scren caoture to work, just powers off the tab :?

Seeing your graph though, you have the odd peak back up, which is what mine shows, but a few more and 1 or 2 fairly impressive jumps back up.

Wireless charging eh..... Suggsy thats your best mod to date

ok so i've been playing games for around 90 mins constant and they were:

Draw something
Flick Golf
Osmos HD
Temple Run

I've also had a browse on the net and watched a couple of youtube HQ streams on the next CoD effort B.O.2 and the battery is showing 75% Discharging with 5hrs 51m on battery this being in and out of standby.

So to be honest it seems no worse than the original FW out of the box.

Happy Days :D

Edit - What i meant to say along with the results is that the on screen keyboard hangs for a while on draw something but other apps seem ok (facebook and twitter) it was ok on the original FW? Has anyone else found this or even plays draw something lol

Update - Still running well on the same charge, tho i had to download adobe flash player 11 to play anything on BBC Iplayer, i was a little concerned after reading some posts about it causing issues but it's playing 'Lee Nelsons Well Good Show' a treat at the moment with no lag or lip sinc issues.

All looking good on your latest build so far suggsy :-)

Nearly a full 24hr cycle complete and still have 40% battery remaining. That includes some fairly heavy use for surfing, streaming YouTube and catchuptv, plus a few downloads and some gaming. On top of that a couple of games that stopped working, tiki kart & golf, are now working again. Result!

I've had no stability issues so far either. All running very smoothly indeed. I also noticed that the CPU is running at 1200mhz in CPU master now, as opposed to 1008mhz before.

Very happy indeed :-)

Battery life looks like its back to the level it was with the stock firmware (or as near as makes no difference).

I've also noticed the sluggish browsing Kevin mentioned a few posts back....Perhaps its something to do with the wireless, which seems to slow down over time....If I disconnect and reconnect it seems to speed up for a time again.

Other than that its a great ROM....thanks again as always Suggsy

Battery seemed to recharge quicker than beta 7, not sure if this is fact or just an illusion.

Very sluggish with opera this morning on first use. Maybe due to nitifications on wakeup.

Battery went from 100% to 95% in less than 3 mins, no real use just trying to browse and write this post.

Busy day, wont be back on line till later tonight, if there is anything I can do.

Hope this helps ..... Cheers

Kevin

I've had no luck getting CWM to work on my Windows 7 64 bit setup. Is it possible to have a Livesuit (e) image please of the latest ROM?
