what's ebuyers returns policy like? I know it's easy enough to return if there is a problem with it. What if you decide you don't like it after opening it? (lets say there's no damage at all) is it still possible to send back before 7 days or is that not an option?

As said before (by someone maybe on another thread).

eBuyer have to conform to the "distance selling act", so they have to let you return goods with no quibble if they have been bought over the interenet, for any reason, even dont like the colour of the case. BUT, they may have certain conditions, such as time limit (think legal must be 7 days not sure if they better this), and condition, ie. if you unwrap it, if they find a scratch (for example) how do you prove it was not of your doing.

I understand there is a 7 day returns policy. But after reading :
"If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 working days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us."

Obviously the tablet will be opened so it will have been "used" do they actually care about that then , obviously If you've gone and made a massive scratch on it you can't really do anything but if they notice you've set it up and everything?

Do a factory reset, clean the dust away with a dry cloth and place it carefully back into the box with all bits of plastic it came with.

A very slightly damp microfibre cloth will take off every single screen fingerprint and smear if you hold it by its edges whilst you clean it - it will sparkle as new.
I do mean only very slightly damp too....
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

Ah cheers, got some cleaning wipes here that might be better. only thing is I was going to put Suggsy89's 4.0.4 build on straight away (no point in trying the crap that's on it) so is it simple to put the original firmware back onto it to send back if need be?

Hi,

I've been using a microfibre cleaning cloth (one for each device) from D&A Opticians for a few years now to clean my touch screen devices. The reasons I use them are:

1) They work very well and don't scratch.
2) A decent size, big enough but small enough to fit in the device case and/or pocket etc.
3) A reasonable price £2.99.
4) They are blue with only a very small and not noticeable logo (unlike some lens cleaners).

I use one cloth per device, probably don't need to so but this is my preference, because I take my phone outside the house, unlike my tab's, the phone does get a lot more dirty.

I use them dry after breathing some hot air onto them (you know what I mean, just can think of a good way to explain that)
