Well I'm sorry I cant.... It is an hideous NAFF photo, which I suspect was never taken by a photographer, but hacked up in PhotoShop by a chinless wonder who has no taste and flock wallpaper in his living room...... :x

..... ok only joking.... I agree, its not the worst thing about the Extreme.... Still a NAFF photo though ;)

Posted this on another thread on the Boot Image...

".. perhaps suggsy's avatar and name in android type font would be a suitable boot screen for his builds."

Still think that would be a suitable image and give Suggsy the credit he deserves for the hard work he is putting in.

Yes that's a good idea and would be nice, but the avatar does need a little bit of work, no offence to you Suggsy there ;)

I'm more than happy to make one like the avatar suggsy uses, but it's horrible - no offence intended at all. :)

Seems to me that if some -one out there with the know-how wants to do a "HowTo" (change the boot screem im'g)
that they would have a good following and everyone could put their own favouirites - or in some special cases - keep the original

By the way, this thread virtually duplicates this one Mod Edit this is now a merged topic so has anyone got any objctions if I edit the two together to help keep the forum tidy?
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

Aye - Good idea TC, better to have just on topic on this. I was thinking of making a new boot.img with the new logo(s) but it will be a fair while before I can as I am rebuilding my Dev PC.

I much prefer the landscape view. I read books and newspapers, play scrabble and chess on my Extreme, all better in the "tall mode".

Barry.

Sorry I found that confusing, please can you explain, thanks - You say landscape then refer to "tall mode" (ie Portrait) - Did you mean you prefer using your Extreme in portrait?

Cheers

Oops sorry meant portrait is my favourite viewing mode!
