The 8GB is divided between the different partitions for system etc. I think the 16GB model will have maybe 12.5GB, maybe a little more.

very true, confused my calculations :P It should have 15.1GB in total - take away the 1.15 for system. So 13.95GB

Get adb on your PC, get stock recovery via "dd" command in adb, install clockworkmod for the extreme, boot to recovery, then "dd" all the nand blocks a,c,d,f, and g.

haha you have no idea how much that didnt make sense to me but will take it one step at a time... 8-)

Also it might be a good idea trying to get in touch with simon193 seeing as he has already flashed the firmware, he should hopefully have a backup...

Are you sure they worked on the stock build, maybe you have an h/w fault.

The buttons work fine with the stock firmware.

Have noticed once or twice they can be a little tempermental on the 0.8 build, but it depends on what App is running.

Until someone makes that available i cant do anything though ;)

Get the Elite and the extras with it, do a full rom dump of the Elite firmware, then we can go from there

If you want to that is... lol

Here's a link to the CWM backup of the system partition. https://www.dropbox.com/s/b0ola8aghg8tacg/system.ext4.tar
