I'm looking to buy a Scroll tablet.

or
Storage Options Scroll Essential 7" Android Android 2.3 Tablet @£65
From reading the forum it looks as though I could update the operating system of the cheaper version to Android 4 (ICS)?
I don't have, and am unlikely to have a 3D tele. What other hardware or other benefits would I miss out on for my £65 compared to £99?
If anybody could give me the knowledge I'd be very grateful.
Remember that the cheap one as you put it (the Essential) has a resistive screen and I don't think that we have a fully working ICS update for that. I know that Piers has flashed ICS onto his essential but I also believe he had to hunt for a resistive screen driver before it worked fully.
(what do you think Piers?)If you go for the Excel which costs a little more, personally I think you are getting a lot more bang for your bucks. The Excel has a capacitive screen and I believe currently comes with ICS installed anyway.
(This may depend on where you buy it from!) If you get an Excel that has Gingerbread still on it, chances are very good that you will find what you need on the Forum to flash it up to ICS 4.0.4
