still not got round to anything,will be installing cmw hopefully in the next hour or so - thinking about going straight for the cm9 ics rom for this from christian on slatedroid (or is suggsys latest 4.0.4 the better choice??)
also TC,if youre around Ive had pm notificiation from you but havent posted enough to use pm functions yet so have no idea whta it was about - if poss could you post of the thread??)

Hi madmatt, the message was just to tell you I was merging the threads but you know that now anyway lol.
I Can't comment on the slatedroid rom but Suggsys work is superb and if you get any problems with it you can always ask for his help.

I have now flashed cmw,& the cm9 latest release - I now have root access back !!!

I havent used it yet as at the moment google is syncing literally every app I have ever downloaded from the store in the last 2 years on all 3 of my mrevious android tabs/phones - does anyone know how to stop this ,done 2 restarts & it still keeps downloading/installing on each boot - its driving me nuts (in a good way as Im happy to have the tab up & runing again) but I am fast running out of space!!

edit - found it,sync button on play store,it only had 267 apps left to download!!
cm9 looks good ,will be a late night testing things out now - always liked the cm mods on my zte & se devices - the app drawer & extra homescreen options without having to install a custom launcher were always a big bonus for me
