Thanks for the update TC, i think i know why the lip-sync issue is there, my fault.. I disabled "v-sync" when i was experimenting with hardware acceleration for the first time... Sorry, i will remove that in the next build.

Thank you for I the 403 ROM which is working really, really well on my Excel. As you'll see from this post, it still shows the M701C as the device. Should I upgrade to 404, and if so, is that via clockworkmod (home key and power on boot) and the new ROM available on the micro sdcard?

Suggsy's 4.0.3 ROM includes Clockwork Mod with it so that make things easy. Use CWM to update to 4.0.4 using this: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2558
This will also change your thumbprint for the device to that of a Samsung i9001 which allows you to see many more apps on Google play-store.

This is an excellent update. The excel now runs far more smoothly and video sync issues are much less noticeable. I've got an issue with a new USB keyboard not working though, anyone else seen anything similar?

It has a mini usb plug and when plugged in the lights come on - e.g. caps lock, but hitting keys does nothing except wake up the table when it dims after inactivity. Unfortunately I only bought the keyboard after going to 4.04 so i don't know if it worked on the stock GB version.

I think the issue is the rom. Many things are broken i admit, its been a while since ive done any development...
I may try to port CM9 to the Excel, its a whole lot better...

Just a quick note to say thanks again Suggsy. Brilliant work, humbly delivered as always! Have experimented with just about every ROM I can find, but this 4.0.4 is certainly the best to date.
