File handling

Postby dustytyke » June 5th, 2012, 10:04 am

I'm new to Scroll Tablet and Android, so my ignorance will be apparent ! What I need to know is how to handle files on the Scroll tablet. As an experiment, I've managed to download (I think !) a Power Point Presentation from my PC. Where do I now find it on my Scroll and how do I call it up and run it ? How should I organise files on the Scroll ?

You will need to download an app that is capable of opening Office formats, there are a few free ones available on Play.

The way I organise files is to have everything non-android related stored on the external SD card, on there I have folders with Apps, TV Shows, Music, Films, Docs and Images - works quite well.
Cheers,

Thank you for that, Piers. As soon as I can get my Scroll online (I'm waiting for a new wireless router) I'll follow your advice and look for an appropriate app.
