Will one of the Scroll CWMs work for the Eken T01

Hi everyone. I’m new here. I posted the question "Is CWM available for the Eken T01" over at Slatedroid and Piers sent me over here to ask you guys. Here is the reply I got from Piers over at Slatedroid.

“I'm pretty sure CWM is available for models very similar to this - if you head over to scrolltabletforums.co.uk and ask there - say Piers sent you

The hardware of this is the same as the Scroll Excel, Scroll Essential and others - the Excel and Essential both have 4.0.4 ROMs as well as CWM on that forum.

It sems that Piers thinks your hardware is similar to the Scroll models. I can only suggest you search the forum for comparisons and if you find a match then (subject to the usual warnings) that you try it and see. If you have a means of doihg a backup first then do that as well.

Ah yes, lol. I remember that - from what I can find it's nearly the exact (or is the exact) same hardware as the Excel minus a few buttons. So technically the Excel ROMs should work, but don't quote me on that.

I’ve tried a couple but ended up using the one for the Extreme. It works beautifully! And since my Eken doesn’t have a hard “back” button the menu actually has a back option. Thanks guys! I feel much better now. I don’t like having any Android device without a decent recovery. LOL
