i know its sorta off topic a little.

but how the fck do you guys think SO are keeping up with firmwares.....so far theres 3 ?? known versions (well 3 and warpedflashes "special" 1.01 version on his new device which seems to have entirely new problems:roll:) ......and they all seem to have the same problems...or none of them.....or all of them....or only some of them

surely this is going to cause major headaches should/if/when they're releasing new firmware...i mean ok you develop and release a firmware to solve a set of "known" issues given a known set of circumstances ....however it appears that its a total lottery as to what set of problems you've got depending on what way the wind is blowing when you bought the device and i cant see them sorting all of them

although granted they've certainly sorted the market one for now
maybe remove the battery icon on the next firmware to solve the battery fluctuations :|

They probably just look at all the complaints of things that are not working, get them to make a whole new firmware with all those things working in it, and it will replace everyones firmware

But no doubt in fixing certain things, they will break others.

Id say the final firmware will just prevent the device from booting, therfore stopping all the bugs

to be honest - i think S.O. rushed out new tablets with a hacked firmware, so they would available for people to buy b4 xmas - as they had to remove 'market place' as there are some kind of licensing issues. (which also caused other needed working parts, ie, screen cal to be messed up) I doubt that there will be any official market place on a scroll in any future updates, at least for the next few months, if at all. most likely Warpedflash has the latest release, and any future ones will be like his.

i think since almost every make of android device is having problems and until google get their finger out and sort the issues at their end...the market is the least of our worries

im thinking "But no doubt in fixing certain things, they will break others." is going to be more accurate

i could live without a broken market place if SO compensate with Gingerbread :D
