Android 4.0.4 firmware for the Essential

Unm no, its not lol sorry. This won't be compatible unfortunately, this is due to the different proccessor as Trashcooky

Found an issue with the rom Playing most video/audio formats doesn't work. I've tried on both Essentials and it's the same.

Tested using MX Player and stock player

I downloaded the firmware from the provided website and then put it on my scroll and successfully was able to install CWM in the Scroll but when i install this i get no errors in CWM but i can't get past the scroll boot screen it doesnt go into any boot animation just stays in the same picture. Am i doing something wrong in the installation process? Also how can you use the yarvik image to help get 4.0.4 in the Scroll? Sorry for being such a noob with this but in other phones i have this is easier.

Thanks for this, it worked beautifully! I initially applied the 4.0.4 update zip without first flashing other yarvik 4.0.3 image and got horribly stuck at the "balloons" boot screen. Once I'd worked out that I needed to flash 4.0.3 first, everything went well.

Here's the process that worked for me. As always, you should back up anything that you don't want to lose.
1) Flash TAB220.img using Livesuite.
2) Install CWM for Android ICS.
3) Copy the Android 4.0.4 update onto your tablet's external SD card.
4) Reboot your tablet into CWM recovery mode.
5) Install (recover) the 4.0.4 update.
6) Reboot, allow the tablet enough time to rebuild cache etc (I gave it 10 mins), enjoy your ICS Essential.

I still can't believe how snappy the whole experience is now. These tablets are awesome, especially with ICS.

I have installed this firmware on my Yarvik 224, it works great!
But there is no Dutch language i can choose. Only English and chinese or something
Is there any way i can do to get the Dutch language?

Sorry I am more of a newbie than you know. I have tried following these threads but to be honest, I am lost.

So I have followed the above steps and downloaded onto my old Excel. (which we bought - tried - never worked very well with Gingerbread, chucked it in a cupboard 2 - 4 years ago and never really used.) But now want to get this thing playing nice for my daughter to use.

I have tried downloading the Live Suite 1.07 but doesn't seem to work right. I am using win 8.1 pro and struggling to get anything working as the numerous threads suggest. I ran the script file from your site. Initially it kept coming back with errors. Messed about with it some more and now option one just seems to close the window? Is that right?

Guys I am used to running around servers and stuff but all windows. This seems to be the dark art of Linux / Debian style OS's. The theory seems simple enough. Just re-install an operating system with the right drivers etc built into the image. But not sure which image I'm supposed to be using. This is still at factory standard and never touched from years ago. So probably years out of date.

Any assistance would be appreciated
