So not sure it is an Android bug, as others arent seeing it. Still think it could be a h/w error. Pity I cant get my Stock ROM back could return to SO, I believe they replace with the Elite now... Never mind.

That's very interesting. I am on Suggsy's 4.0.4 ICS for the 'Excel' and I don't have any timekeeping issues.
As a complete shot in the dark I wonder if anyone is able to compare the Extreme CPU speed on a stock rom with yours to see if there is any difference. I recall reading somewhere that some apps are badly written regarding timekeeping in that they interpret time; based upon a devices known default CPU speed - i.e. - changes in CPU speed = changes in timekeeping. I'm Probably wide of the mark; but this could account for why some report time gain and others report time loss ? ;)

Hello John and Kevin.

I have just restored the stock firmware on my Extreme tablet. I still know little about these tablets but if you can tell me where/how to find out the information you want I will take a look while still on stock.

Cheers.

Barry.

I'm not sure about the Extreme as I don't have one to compare but hopefully you might find this information in sytem/about tablet.

Just an update for those interested. Been using ClockSync now for quite a while, and it keeps my clock at the correct time A good app, mind you an app that really should not be needed.
