Sorry for not replying sooner. I was restoring to cm9 at the time and after that I called it an evening. Glad to hear you've all got it working now. I always find when moving to a different build it's best to do a factory reset and start again.

I have to say if it wasn't for video issues it would be nigh on perfect for my own personal use. The new keyboard will take a little getting used to, I liked having numbers available as a long press, otherwise it's very impressive. Especially as it's only on it's second build. CT reccomends using airdroid to transfer files via wireless.

I will be following progress of this closely :D
Regards,
Chris.

Nope. I'm upbeat that it will be sorted soon, but until it is, I'm going back to CM9.

Cant wait till the issues are sorted, definitely worth upgrading to, even the English spell checker works properly.

:D

Hey Amigo's,

I see that CT is uploading a new build today to fix the camera, this guy never sleeps lol :geek:

I wonder if he'll get round the HD streaming/playback issues? hope so as i quite like this new JB rom and that would be the cherry on the icing on the jellybean :D

I took the plunge and installed the new Preview 3 rom and can confirm the camera's are now working. As there are issues with transfering files from PC to Tablet I downloaded a workround from page 1 of CM10 Preview forum on slatedroid, direct to the extreme. You have to boot into recovery once its there and just flash it like any other zip file.

This enables you to use the Terminal Emulator on the extreme to give the PC access to the tablets files and allows you to copy over the new rom. It's all there for you under 'Known Bugs' just make sure you type umount-storage and not unmount-storage like i did lol

You then just run through the normal routine to flash the new rom + 1.2 compatibility zip, reboot then flash gapps :)

Well have installed CM10 preview 3, think I will stay with it for a while, even with its flaws. Search failing is a little annoying and youtube doesn't work, but will live with that for the moment.

Looking good as a beta release though.
