Hi Suggsy89 i was trawling the early CM10 pages on CT's forum and i found this post from the man himself......
change nandi to nandj, 4.0.4 roms have a different partition layout.
in faqs section of cm9 you'll find a link to a cwm with support for nandj internal memory

Doesn't mean anything to me but i thought you might know what if refers to?

I've tried this today using ES File Explorer and edited the vold.fstab file changing nandi to nandj and all it done was show me under Settings/Storage that my internal storage was the total size of my installed apps (@300mb) So I changed it back again.

I ran also into the same issue after installing Suggsy89 image. Modifying the vold.fstab file or re-installing the latest CM10 did not help. From CWM, emmc could not be mounted, formated or its partition could not be changed.

After restoring my original stock backup from CWM, I could again access the internal sdcard (I had a similar issue in CM9, for some unexplained reason the internal sdcard disappeared). So I re-installed the latest CM10 build and this time, emmc is mounted and the internal sdcard is now accessible :)

Really proud today as I got up the courage to flash my first rom. Thanks to Suggsy fro cooking it and Stubaldock for clear instructions.
However, despite it all being much more responsive :) I've run into some problems.
1.Dropbox and Zinio both won't work because there's no sd card. "Your device has no sd card.....so dropbox won't work properly." DB is pretty vital to me. Apps2SD says no apps can be moved to the internal sd.
I'm a noob obviously but don't get how I can flash new rom, like latest CM10 build, over it like passy says without being able to put the rom on the sd card.
Update: external sd card does show up in recovery, I've since discovered, so able to re-flash.
I don't have an original stock rom backed up either, as CWM always refused to do it .... :(
2. Settings>Developer: everything is greyed out. Can't enable usb debugging, for example.
Ok just found out you can turn them on or off, :oops:

Problems, problems ....

And another thing, CWM says:
"The SD card needs to be mounted to use rom manager."

This tutorial really helped me using live suit for the first time, thought I'd post for anyone browsing and mystified!

There is a ZIP file that adds External SD card support. Problem is I cant find the link, I know it works as I downloaded it and use it.

Anyone else remember where this is downloaded from ...

kajcro... someone will come to your help soon, I'm sure.

The filename if you want to search for it is

cm10_move2sd_enabler_20120822.zip

It was a Christian Troy file, so will be somewhere here, just can pin it down...

You download the zip and install it throug CWM.

If I find the link I'll update....

Aghh.... thats it. go to UpdateMe and select misc and then download the re-enable move to SD app/zip file. Install that through CWM and all done.

In case anyone else wants it there is a link here too: http://tinyurl.com/csvv7qz I don't expect it will stay live for ever though.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

I'm not in quite such a tired and emotional state this morning! I ended up trying the standard CM10 CT rom over suggsy's , but it didn't have touch. Then tried Shaun2029's repackage. That at least allows dropbox, but evernote won't work, another disaster for me. I attempted to install the sd card zip you guys have kindly pointed me to, but it got stuck booting and I ended up having to wipe and reinstall the Repackage rom again.
Will keep trying for a solution, other than going back to stock sluggish rom.
Takes over your life, this thing!
Update:
Thought this would solve my problem: http://www.jayceooi.com/2012/06/25/how- ... l-sd-card/
However when I have tried to sideload the app it says there is not enough space and I will have to delete some apps. There is 502 MB used/285 MB free. I wonder how much space it needs!

suggsy89 wrote:....400mb System Partition, 787mb Internal Storage Partition (may be able to increase this)...

I have just used LiveSuit to flash my Extreme with JB.CM10.CT.PV3.img and now have a 383MB system partition with a 787MB internal storage partition.

However, that is all I have now on the 8GB of internal memory. It looks as if something has gone wrong or is this how it is supposed to be? I can't use certain apps because they state "SD Card Not Mounted" such as ROM Manager and the camera app, even when I insert an external SD Card.

When I boot into CWM and select "choose zip from internal card" it states "E:Can't mount /emmc/" but thankfully I can mount from an external one which I have used to try to fix this problem by reinstalling the previous ROM but to no avail.

I think kajacro has this problem too judging by his posts in this thread but don't know if he's finally fixed it.

Can some one please advise me on my next step. My Extreme is fairly useless now unless I can fix this.

Yes I did have this problem, and BTW I'm a she!
My Scroll Extreme is now running beautifully after I followed stubaldock's instructions to go back to the original system stock rom and then flash CM10.

Ok here is a little 'how to' and before i start i'd like to thank Suggsy89, Piers, CT, Shaun2029 and numerous others for getting us this 'Extemely' functional tablet functioning as it should I hope this helps bring together the different posts and aides people in getting the rom of their dreams onto their tablet lol - Oh and sorry about the links below.... I'm rubbish at doing it properly

Things you will need:
ImgRepacker
Scroll down to link by Finkle for Scroll Extreme Image
PdaNet - 2nd Post down and find http address for 32 and 64 bit versions
Scroll down to Livesuit Link
Look for CM10 Rom
Look for JB Gapps
Scroll down to 'You can get them on this website'
Scroll down to Piers for Extreme CWM Recovery

*Firstly Install PdaNet on your PC - Important

Increasing .img file using imgrepacker:

*Open ImgRepacker folder after Unzip and paste Scroll Extreme .img file into it.
*Open 'Runner.bat' file and at flashing cursor type the name of the image file then return then follow options 'blank' 'yes' 'yes' - This will create a folder named something like 'Scroll.Extreme.v.1.0.img.dump'
*Open folder and then open 'sys_config.fex' file with notepad and edit the nandd section which looks like:

;------------------------------>nandd, android real rootfs
[partition3]
class_name = DISK
name = system
size_hi = 0
;size_lo = 262144 "Put semi-colon on this line"
;size_lo = 307200
size_lo =409600 "Delete Semi-colon on this line"
user_type = 2
ro = 0

*Save and exit file.
*Open 'Runner.bat' file again and this time copy the folder name at the flashing cursor, Then return 'Blank' 'yes' 'yes' to finish. You will now notice that you have 2 scroll roms but 1 will have a .bak suffix - disregard this file.

So there you have basically increased the partition size to allow the new CM10 files to load and run adequately. The roms partition will only increase once you have followed the sequence below and then installed the CM rom - please don't ask why as i have no idea

Next is getting the new rom .img onto your tablet

*open livesuit.
*Navigate to new image file and load into livesuit.
*power down the tablet.
*plug usb cable into PC
*hold vol- and plug usb into tablet whilst keeping vol pressed (really important)
*press power button on tablet repeatedly (whilst keeping vol pressed) until it registers the usb connection (i had PC sound up to hear it)
*livesuit will then give you a dialogue box and i just 'yes' 'yes' both options and the upload starts
*once the process is complete the tablet will power down
*press the power button as normal and it will boot into ICS

Ok we now need to load CWM Revovery onto the tablet and we do this by making sure the tablet is hooked up to the PC with USB Debugging enabled and doing the following:

*Run CWM Recovery Script Scroll Extreme_TEST.bat from the 'Extreme CWM Recovery' RAR.
*Select option 1 and wait, it may take up to 2 hours to work.
*Once it's completed it will tell you - you can now select option 2 (reboot).
*CWM should now be installed.
*Verify by holding the left volume key + power button for around 10 seconds, it will then boot up into CWM.

Reboot the tablet and use file manager with USB Debugging enabled to copy the CM10 Rom + Gapps + compatibility files to the tablet - I stuck them on the internal SD card just to make sure they could be found by CWM

*Hold power button on tablet until you get the options to reboot / turn off etc....
*Reboot in to recovery.
*Flash CM10 Rom + Gapps + compatibility 1.2 in that order.
*Reboot Tablet
*Enjoy................

God Bless You...and the lady shall set you free :D
Thank you so much and apologies for the choice of gender in my previous post!

Quite simply, everything is back to normal and better with a larger system partition that has a CM10.
All that's left to know is:
1. As of now what is the latest CM10 and GAPPS? I've used:
cm10_a10_20120924.zip, gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip & 907c_compatibility_1.2.0.zip

2. My total internal storage is 1.15GB & 5.64GB = 6.79GB. Am I still missing a gig?
3. Has anyone got the rear camera working, using an app perhaps? Just trivial really but good to know.

Thanks again Kajacro for the post and everyone that helped him her ;)
