Well I have just stumbled across another JB ROM which so far appears to work on the trusty Excel.Momo9/iview/A10 allwinner variants.
It is a modded Christian Troy ROM "Cyanbook" and is available to download here:

For those who don't know the terminal emulator command to see their partitions it is
df Whoever is facing issues with keyboard not poping out.. plz try this.. 1)Flash just the rom.. not Gapps....2) boot to OS.. 3)reboot to recovery.. 4)Flash gapps.. if this does not work.. move LatinIME.apk from /data/app to /system/app
Additionally this SD card swap looks very interesting but I haven't got that far yet:
