Just to let you know that I've successfully flashed mine to Jellybean too, I followed the instructions as layed out by TC. I also had mine stuck in a boot loop, but perform the reset with recovery sorted. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this, it looks to be a great ROM and has made my little tablet so much better :)

@forrrge - Glad you are liking it too, it is a great 4.1 version.

@TC or @forrrge can you find this file in / initlogo.rle please and up load it for me thanks.

The reason I ask is that I unpacked/re-packed the boot.img and replaced the initlogo.rle in there and the tablet boots fine and works OK - However I still get that initial black square on 1st switch on, then my splash screen, then CM10 boot animation.

Cheers

Thanks @TC - Well this is interesting, your initlogo.rle is blank like my original one. I get the following boot -->

1. Black screen with black square in middle of screen (you can only see this square/block at certain angles) -->
2. Black/blank splash (ie initlogo.rle) -->
3. CM10 boot animation.

Is yours similar but instead of #1 you have suggsy's logo?

Also can you upload your bootloader.img from a recent 4.1 CWM backup, please.

Cheers

P.S.

It does seem that the logo image I am trying to change is #1 but not sure where this is located.

This is the same as I had on the Yarvik prior to the animation logo.
Yes I get a brief preview of Suggsy's android then CM10
I have to pop out for a while now but I will see what I can do later.
Cheers.

Thanks @TC - So I think that it's safe to say that the CM10 .zip does not change the 1st boot logo (ie Suggsy's or the black square on the yarvik) - So where did you @Suggsy put your logo then? - Somewhere in the bootloader me thinks ummm.

I would still like a copy of your bootloader.img when you get a chance, thanks.

Hi Charlie, sorry to keep you waiting, had to find an upload slot:

As your updates are based on the Yarvik 264 ROM you should have a larger system partition than me.
Unless you flashed using LIvesuite?
When I was on Yarvik 264 ICS the system partition was a massive 503 MB
These IMG's are based on updates done via Suggsy's 4.1 to give me the re-sized system partition.
JB CM10 boot image
JB CM10 bootloader image

I was having a rake around on the tablet whilst "she who must be obeyed" was in Sainsburys' but even with show hidden files and system mounted as RW I couldn't find it using es file explorer. I have cloned my tablet ROM to my PC so I can have a hunt around using Ubuntu to see if that can go where no man has gone before :?
