@sophiesnanna, From your help request I am unsure if you also need help to access the Google Playstore so here is a brief how to.
Here is a short video on how to set up a Googlmail address and password which you will need before you can download apps from the Google Playstore.

When you have created a Gmail account you can use the details to log in to the Google Playstore and register your Scroll tablet.
You must do this before you can download any apps from the Playstore.

Also, clicking on the Google Playstore icon in applications will prompt you to register your device, just follow the onscreen prompts.
It is easy to forget passwords so make sure to keep a copy of your account details somewhere you can refer back to if needed.

When you have registered your Scroll with Google Playstore it can take up to 24 hours before your registration is fully processed so don't be surprised if you can't download things straight away as you should be able to do so the following day.

What if you don't have a google play app? I have the original basic scroll with resistive screen and android 2.1. My market is broken and I don't have google play. (I did previously have market via detection's fix).

I found this on T mobile's site and it states you need android 2.2 or higher.....

I have highlighted the relevant statements.

If your Android Market application has not updated to Play Store, try the following:

Make sure your device is Android operating system (OS) 2.2 or above

To determine what version of Android your device is running, visit your phone’s Settings. Tap “About phone,” then tap “Software information.” The OS version number will appear under the heading “Android version.”

If your device is running Android OS 2.1 (Eclair) or below, your device cannot be updated to Play Store, and you’ll continue to see the Android Market app.

Older versions of the Android operating system aren’t compatible with the Play Store update. You’ll still be able to browse and buy apps in the version of Android Market available on your phone, and you can check out Android phones running the latest Android operating systems at http://www.google.com/phone.

Ensure you have the latest system update from your device manufacturer

Additional system updates may be available from your device manufacturer in the coming days and weeks, so continue to check your device for new updates.

Some Android devices may require an additional system update from the manufacturer to get Play Store.

Check the list of supported devices for your phone or tablet. The Play Store app is an application created by Google that is only made available to devices that pass Android’s compatibility requirements. In addition, manufacturers must obtain a license from Google in order to install Play Store on their devices.

If you don’t have the the Play Store app, and your device is not listed here, that means your device is not supported for use with the Play Store app at this time. Contact your device manufacturer for additional details.

It reads like if you can find an old version of Market that will still work.... happy hunting.

I got the market app from the link at the bottom and market starts but I'm getting the network error. I'm not sure what happened, my scroll was working fine then I lost it for a few months and now this.
