Thanks, you certainly did well for information as we now know exactly what model you have and can try to see what can be done.
The Scroll model 51624 is an early resistive screen, Telechips (CPU) based model originally running android Eclair (2.1) and with only 2Gb of ram and just 256 Mb of system memory. By current standards this is unfortunately a poor specification and not well suited to upgrade to current operating systems such as Jelly Bean. I am uncertain if this model will run even Ice Cream Sandwich but perhaps someone with more knowledge than me can confirm this.
Even if it will upgrade I doubt you will be able to upgrade much more than Gingerbread 2.3 and updating Telechips based tablets is quite a technical task that cannot be explained in an easy step process like you hoped in your original request.

Android Market is the early version on the current Google Play store. If you have used this in the past then you must have already set up a Google account (Gmail).
