Official DIGMA IDS10 - Android 4.1.2

Hi everyone. Sorry not posted for a while but have been dipping in and out.
My Scroll Extreme has been getting slower and slower and I almost gave up with it.... So this Easter weekend I had some free time so I read lots of excellent info on this site and did a few things.

1 I formatted a 32 gb micro SD card and put that into the tablet.
2. I then followed the instructions from this post viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2712&start=10 and now have the SD card as my main drive?
3. I downloaded the Digma IDS10 Android 4.1.2 image and flashed my tablet with livesuite after doing a backup.
4. I now have 4.1.2 running!!

BUT there are some things I hope the brains on the site can answer.
Somewhere along the line I did a backup of everything with Titanium backup but when I try to restore all my apps it does not find them. I think they are hidden to the programme??

So the only apps I have on the tablet at present are about 23 which came with the 4.1.2 upgrade.

When I go into settings and Storage It shows the following

Internal Storage
Total space 756 MB
Apps 62.91MB
Available 687MB

Then
Internal storage again
Total space 5.54GB
Apps 76.00KB
Available 5.54GB
Then below the words Erase SD card it then reads

Total space 31.21GB
Available 28.59GB

Unmount SD card

Sorry for the long winded post but what has happened to the Extreme. Everything seems to run smoothly and I can connect to the internet etc. Every button on the Apps which are on the tablet work well, although the camera button needs a hard press to make it work.

Thanks for this update and just wonder if anyone can unravel what the tablet has done now. I am quite happy to download all of the apps again but just want to know if I have done anything wrong? or is it just not going to be stable in its present setup.

I looked at the tablet today and this is what the vold.fstab file shows. Is this ok???

Also the Internal storage sizes have changed so maybe its writing everything to the old internal memory instead of the SD card? Any ideas what to do to correct this??

I went ahead and installed apps I found on the tablet. I now have all the original ones.

1 thing I have noticed. The icon on the bottom right with four arrows pointing out has Russian text even though in the settings of the tablet everthing is set to English?? Can this be fixed easily?

I have hit a snag now. I installed the apps and updated them but now it says insufficient space to update any more.

Aghhh what have I done now as i thought having the 32Gb Sd card would fix all of this.

Back to the drawing board.....

Hi Steve,

Try moving the apps that can be moved to the sd card, if you have not already done this.
This should solve your space issue.

If you don't know how, use settings, apps, click on each app and click "Move to SD card" if it is avaliable.
Google for more info.

With this ROM, I believe that the SD card that the apps are moved to is not the external SD card, but rather the second Internal memory of 5GB.

I suggest you use the external SD for media.

Hi Shaun, thanks for your reply.
You are right in that when I move apps to create space, they are moved to the second drive, i.e the 5.54gb drive.
It looks like although I have 3 internal drives now, drive 1 has the operating system, drive 2 is extra space and drive 3 is just extra space again. Is that what you think? Does that not defeat the object of making the SD card an internal drive??

On another point, thanks for the Jelly bean post. I have that on my tablet and all works nicely except for the 3 drive issue. Did you notice my second post regarding the Russian text at the bottom of the screen with this Rom?

I can confirm that this does not work on the Extreme II. It will take the full flash however only shows a white or lined screen.

Getting sick of this tablet now, wish I had my elite back!!!
