Scroll 8" 51951 HBOOT Recovery Access

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can help me, I dusted off my old Scroll 8" recently to see if I could solve the problem Its had since I bought it 4 years ago.

Basically I have been unable to access the HBOOT/Recovery menu using the Vol+ whilst powering up, it just ends up hanging on the "Scroll by Storage Options" flash screen. Also when the "reboot" command is used by Terminal the uni shuts down but does not reboot until the power button is pressed. The unit was rooted using z4root when I originally got it all those years ago, and is running pre-installed 1.02 firmware....any ideas?!?

I have discovered with the Scroll Excel (different model to yours I know) that after rooting and or flashing firmware that the key combination for entering recovery mode can change. Have you tried power + menu for instance?
