Sice getting my replacement scroll yesterday with the dreaded 1.01 firmware, i've noticed an annoying issue.
When I play games (jewels etc) I am forced to turn the unit 180 degrees to play it (so the hard buttons are at the top). This diddnt happen on the 0.94 firmware. I also noticed that if I calibrated the screen using the app the calibration went way out. SO sent me a new TSCalibration apk file but i havent had chance (or the guts) to load it yet because if it stuffs up the calibration again the only way to correct it is to do a factory restore..
I've sent SO an email about this, ill post a summary of the response when I get one.
Anyone else having this problem with orientation? Ive tried resetting the settings for orientation but to no avail .

Known issue. Effects loads of people, no idea if its just that firmware or not.

Just had a reply back from Mike at SO...
He's contacting the Dev Eng dept. to make sure this problem is rectified in the new firmware. I asked him if he could supply V0.94 for me to reload - no mention of a response in his reply.
I would have thought it would be a firmware issue, doesnt happen on my old one.

If they are activly working on a firmware I wonder what they will produce

According to the emails it was going to be ready by now, maybe we have delayed it with all our emails with bugs.
Hopefully that is the reason and they fix them all

you could try replacing libs from old firmware as a temp fix

which firmware has no problems with app orientation? if you need to test aan app on 1.01 z4root is upside down
