skype in the united kingdom

my first time using a scroll and android just wondering if skype will work on the scroll in the united kingdom?

From what I've gathered skype fails to run on the scroll atm

I downloaded a crack version that allows connect via 3G which loaded up and logged in ok, but I think because of removing the phone apk files, it crashes as soon as you try to do anything

ok thanks also can you use a mobile dongle for internet?

Some are reported to work(ish) others not...there's no list of dongles/providers as yet

mmm interesting my scroll will arrive Saturday so i will be looking forward to seeing what it can do. i have been looking for a case for it and have found one with a keyboard for £20-£25 from various web outlets has anyone got one and using?.

Lots of posts about cases, use the Search tool ...

I have one of 'em and I like it. Others have one and don't. I've had to get mine replaced as a couple keys weren't working.

It's a handy case and turns the tablet into a netbook

Indeed it is. Just be sure to get the one with the mini-USB connector. Some out there have the regular size connector and you have to use an adapter.
