I want to play a game, the rules are simple - make your choice.

Q. Will S.O. release an update for the Scroll 7" to fix the known issues?

Let the game begin ;)

They could release an update making Scroll users control of the internet and I wouldn't install it!

I dont think they will, no. The guys on the end of the phone are nice enough but the "engineers" they employ need a boot up the a£$%.
I have a similar situation with a mobile manufacturer, I deal with their R&D depts by phone and email all the time and LG are an absolute nightmare! Nokia, Samsung, Motorola & SonyEricsson are great....

Anyway, we shall see!

I suspect that they are too busy working on the next product, which will use feedback from forums such as this, to worry about those who already own their products. Short sighted maybe but often the manner in which rapid moving industries work :|

Well if DHL don't deliver my Scroll today (they've had it over a week) then I'll be getting the 8" instead and will let you know if its better :)

The 8" is almost the same as the 7", only 4 things different, 8" screen, 8Gb internal storage, 4000mAH Li-polymer rechargeable battery & more expensive. Everything else is the same, even the case size.
