If the home apk is not on your scroll I don't think a factory reset will restore it.

Was it just a typo, my manual says /nand not /anand. It is showing z4root and emulator because they are in the folder that app installer is currently looking at. Files you have downloaded perhaps?

There appears to be a backup of the home app and others in /system/app (on mine anyway) you could try running it from there or copy to /nand first. Please be careful though and read any messages carefully, if it asks to uninstall it, cancel it as it's already installed and you have other problems. Someone more knowledgeable will be along to help out soon.

To do this, in app installer tap the menu button and then scan folder, and type in /system/app a list of apps will be presented, choose the home app.

Hope this helps

Steve no it wont.

dont fiddle with /system/app if you dont know what you are doing. it is not a backup... its the running system files...

Dont scan /system/app as that would be retarded... If its not on /nand it is not there

root, then clockwork, then backup, then phone apk mod.

OK Warpedflash, thanks. That's why it asked to uninstall.

Another learnt lesson
