I found appbrain didn't actually provide APKs and you still were re-directed to the standard Market to actually download anything.

appbrain i quite like it. it syncs everything and i have had no props with the market place using appbrain every thing i have requested has installed with no probs. lots of users on this forum cant seem to download anything from market place.
