Brianzion, I also don't have 'location and security' under settings - I'd figured that was where I should go, but it isn't there. Something amiss here...? Makes the machine useless, for me!

Found the info on the app...
com.acaras.alarmclockdemo

When I've googled doesn't mention pattern lock, however I do have access to Location and Security settings with the ability to enable/disable and set patterns for locking

I have found this setting on mine - but i had to use 'Any Cut' to make a short cut to the home screen to access >location and security settings -

I've added it to my home screen (I'm using ADW) Add>Shortcuts>Settings>Location & Security

*update*
Ahh just found It's James Lim's Android Task Manager....

It lets you into Location & Security settings (which is labelled "My Location (network, GPS)" in the settings tab of ATM.

Now this is getting silly. I installed Android Task Manager, found 'my location,GPS', checked 'require pattern', so when the screen goes off, I have to enter the pattern to restore it. But when I reboot, the screen comes straight on. Secure or what? I'm losing patience with this, think the machine might be on ebay soon...
