I think I really did brick it this time !

Postby slarti99 » January 23rd, 2011, 7:33 pm

Looks like my build.prop change has gone wrong.

If I boot normally I get in a LauncherPro Force Close loop and can't get out (Launcher Pro is my default home). If I try to boot into recovery mode with the volume up key my little green friend now has an exclamation mark above his head and I can't even do an update.zip.

Anyone seen this ?

Thanks

Yes i have - it not a bad as you think - (i forget which one it is) but press one of the 'hard' buttons ie home, menu, back, etc and then you will get the recovery menu

If you bring up the recovery menu select the delete cache option and the scroll deletes app prefernces, so it won't attempt to use launcherpro as the default, it'll go back to asking what default action to use for each thing you select :)
