One good thing about having this update is that we can remove everything not wanted before flashing it, mms.apk etc and also can add apps we want to it and make a perfect firmware as far as I can tell

Has anyone actually managed to update successfully? I'm itching to have a go but don't want a brick!

Download the update from here - http://www.storageoptions.com/assets/docs/update.zip

(Download both of the above to your PC and follow the instructions from Storage Options.)

Uh huh... except they removed market/youtube support and broke the touch screen.

Nope Im the only one to have flashed it so far and it killed the touchscreen

Download it on a pc. copy to your sd card.

What did it do to the touchscreen, eleborate?
Did you manage to revert the update/damage if so how?
