erm why dont you just flash the stock recovery? all you need is the .img then do the same as you would for clockwork

So apart from resolving the 5% battery issue on some units the 1.02 it simply removes market / youtube completely on a stock scroll? Excellent update that methinks

OK so I have dvff market already, jvst need to delete vtvbe and I then have the latest firmware! !!

I might be reading this wrong but looking at the recovery-from-boot.p recovery image in the SO update.zip, this appears to be an IMGDIFF2 patch. From what I understand (thanks to google) this will binary patch the recovery partition and not fully write it. I'm guessing that this would be nothing short of disaster if it tries to apply that patch designed for a stock recovery partition to a Clockwork Mod Recovery. Since I've already followed WarpedFlash's great instructions and installed Clockwork Mod Recovery, I'm not sure where to go from here.

I have made a copy of the update that just doesn't flash those files. Problem solved. Except the update borks the screen

In that case, I'll hold fire on this update for now. A borked touch screen is an unhappy state for a touch screen device. If you need a tester for adjustments to your customised update, I'm willing to help out. As long as I have a good chance of recovering from my backup that is.

Hi, i've installed the new firmware as per the instructions, i installed it due due the 5% problem with my battery i was experiencing, all works fine now(battery that is) and havent had any other problems, however it take off my YouTube app.
