Sorry for the double post mojo and wasn't trying to rub it in.
On a plus side I have just ordered one off Tesco for my twelve year old son as he hasn't been able to stop playing with mine in the two days I've had it.

I noticed the Tesco ad says "Trial Software Loaded Android 2.1". But then it also says only 802.11b

Yeah maplins had that one on offer for £99 (from the original £150), I played with it, but no 3D GPU and smaller screen, so it was dismissed quicker than a horrid fart...

petrus wrote:Hi,
I have just joined this forum, as I have ordered a Scroll 7" tablet from Tesco. They currently have a 20% off promotion on certain laptops, netbooks, and tablets, so I have payed £103, with collect in store, to save the £5 delivery cost. I am due to call in-store tomorrow to pick it up.

thanks for the "heads up", petrus. That is a very good deal. I'm tempted to get a second one to act as a testbed for hardware mods as I've got very fond of my original & wouldn't be without it now.
