Wow, what a fantastic ass you are. Or Champion for the common man? How do you see yourself here?
Are you standing vigilantly for those who stumble into the likes of this forum, all unaware, to brick their device with tweaks which can do no such thing, no matter how..'common' the user is? Or are you just being an arse and casting wild and unjustifiable accusations of impropriety and malfeasance on someone volunteering time and knowledge to those looking exploring for information?
How very embarrassing it would be to find you represent 'other' interests. (touch Mike)
Everything I buy, I hack. In fact, most things I buy with the knowledge that it is, in fact, hackable and that people are working on the same. Every phone, every X-Box, every DVD, PC, DS, PSP. Hell, I even 'hacked' my food processor!
And there isn't a damn thing wrong with it. It's not 'illegal' and it can't void a warranty. That boat sailed and those guys lost. I can install whatever OS I can manage to on my Scroll and doing so will in no way void my warranty. They will not be required to support me any more with OS related queries, but then I've never much wanted their 'support' in the first place, thus why I will install Android 2.2.
Funny how every one of the threads you complained about cautioned users, yet you assume that isn't enough. That people need protected from themselves. How very pompous of you, but I'll address it in the time honored and true manner: you can't fight the power of stupid. No matter how many warnings, how many explanations, how many EMBOLDENED DIRECTIONS; stupid finds a way.
This community will not be playing to the lowest 'common' denominator.
