the only dongle i think will work is the mifi check it out here >> http://www.three.co.uk/Mobile_Broadband/MiFi i will be getting one next week so will put a test review on.

i would really go for the mifi too, however, i live in the sticks and the nearest 3g reception i get is almost 2 miles away :(
but im moving to south london soon so will get one then :)

i dont think the scroll supports the dongles of old the (scroll is linux based) and the dongles need to run on windows software they have trouble using dongles on linux distros as it is so i would save for a mifi its portable goes in your pocket and your scroll sees it as any wifi hotspot or router, like i said in a earlier post i will give feedback when i get mine.

i was under the impression a handful of the huwai dongles were supported by some distros?

back on topic, id be interested to find out how they got it working!

yes you are right but in the forums of linux people do lots of tweaking etc. i duel boot i use windows 7 64 BIT. and on a separate ssd drive i run kubuntu distro its great but i cant get a 3 old school dongle to work :( mifi is the future >>> http://www.kubuntu.org/
