i have run a test on this sd card Samsung 4GB Micro SDHC Memory Card / Class 4 they are faster than cheap sd cards these are available on play.com & Amazon uk various sizes details below

not a problem the sd cards are quite cheap at the moment and that extra speed will help read/write from songs/ vids/ etc :cool:

but what about the cards benchmarks when its in the scroll???
'Rooted', 'propped' and 'stripped' -but still scared of terminal F/W V 1.01_Bb V 1.01 K 2.6.29_Android 2.1 32GB & non-Working Market :-/

that test was done with the card in the scroll mojo with 2GB of data on it :)

so you were benchmarking the scroll whilst attached to the PC?

yes mojo did not see the point to test it without any data on or just plugged in to the pc the reading would not give a true value of using it in the scroll, download the testbench CrystalDiskMark 3.0 and try yourself http://crystalmark.info/software/Crysta ... dex-e.html
my point of posting the thread is to make people aware there are better sd cards that read/write faster that would be better for the scroll. cheap ones are just that cheap. :)

indeed thats true, i may give it a go just to add comparison with a larger card, ive got some smaller capacity cheapo cards lying around too that i could benchmark...

hey guys, hope you are all well, do you know there is a thread on xda developers where someone has found out that all sd cards dont run at their full capability on android, you hav to flash ready made sripts to make them run faster..
