Do you not have youtube because you did the PMT mod - or is it another reason?

There is a post - about installing youtube 2.0 but it is a bit of a pain as you have to manually delete all the old youtube stuff before the new one can install. (+ the new version one, if you login and don't log out of youtube, it stops working)

it is unlikely that the change of build.prop, got rid of your youtube app. - i will try to fine the original app (not sure i still have it)

EDIT - don't have it anymore, sorry - but you can try this one http://www.4shared.com/file/kzf8UALP/YouTube-1508.html
NOTE: This is an untested version, but should be ok

Sounds like you have a youtube app already installed. but are missing the icon links to it.

Not sure why your icon to the app would be missing from the app drawer. Sorry

I tried playing a video clip with iMplayer and that just crashed the scroll, and had to hold power button for a few seconds to reboot the scroll. I removed implayer just incase but youtube still fails to install. Hope someone can help with the missing icon if thats what it is.
