Motion sensor all back to front?

Postby samtheeagle » January 31st, 2011, 8:52 am

I tried the game aTilt Labrynth on my scroll, and although it does run, and is marked as working in the compatible apps thread, I found it to be impossible to play. No matter how I tilted or rotated the device I couldn't get my inputs to translate to the game properly, no matter what I tried all the controls where inverted in some way or other.

Just me?

Not just you - the scroll has many faults, that being one of the many

Ok, that's good. I thought that I was going nuts. I tried all different device orientations, and no matter what I did I couldn't discern any correlation between my inputs and what the game did.

Yea, we are working on a 2.2 release, which hopefully at some point will have all the irritating 2.1 bugs fixed - could take a while though considering how many issues it has

There may be a calibration option in the games menu, I know there is one for a tilt maze game I was playing and had to reverse the axis

The only option I could see was to centre the sensor... Couldn't spot anything about axis swapping.

I was on 1.01 and had many problems which all went away when I upgraded to 1.02.
If this game is free I will try it on my 1.02 system and let you know.
Won't be until tomorrow though.
