Update:

Again have just over 6hrs use (25% bat left) could push to maybe 6h30m to 7hrs but i prefer to recharge when at 25% don't won't to run it flat.

still working on the workaround - but I think what has been increasing bat life is being able to put in airplane mode but to toggle on wifi - a widget called 'free power widget' does that ok, but tying to find a better one.

The fisrt custom roms for the Scroll should probably remove the 4 phone APK's the aeroplane mode workaround should work okies but kinda silly to keep stuff thats not needed.

I agree, it would be better to get rid of the stuff that can not be used, but in the mean time the workaround for me is ok, until I learn more and can put on a custom rom ect.

I use Beautiful Widgets...

Boot up.

Plane mode On.

Then re-enable Wifi.

Voila, no cell battery drain at all anymore.

You should be able to use "Airplane Mode Wi-Fi Tool" that is free on the market.
Search for Airplane mode and its a few down
