Web Site Problem

Postby Cder » February 1st, 2011, 10:05 pm

I used to own a Android Touch II tablet that I use to view a free TV site called tvcatchup (http://m.tvcatchup.com) and could watch various tv programs on it, however since upgrading the unit to the Scroll Tablet i can not longer watch this site. I have tried the various browser i.e. skyfire, opera etc ... and installed flash lite 4 but all to no avail, all im shown is a blank screen.

If anyone could let me know of a bowser that would let me view to video on this site it would be appricated as I travel a lot and would like to be able to watch tv on the move.

Note - The site does not use flash so I know it's not a problem concerning that.

the site should open the stream in the default media player. maybe try downloading realplayer or something similar and setting that as teh default player?

Thanks for the replys I have tried both of these options but still to no avail. Can't understand why my previous tablet also working Android 2.1 worked without any issues, however the Scroll Tablet with a faster processor and more memory won't work at all. I'm starting to think that the shop which I purchased this item from had no idea when I asked them the relavent questions concerning this item and one of them being would I be able to stream from the channel in question. But then again the box which in came in say's that it has various programs loaded which are not. i.e. Google Maps, YouTube and Flash. Think I may take it back and getting another item.

Found the correct link http://handheld.softpedia.com/progdownl ... 04349.html. Just downloaded it and it works but the picture is very distorted and the sound breaks up but someone else may have better luck.
