I just ordered my 7" Scroll yesterday but I don't think the extra inch would have swayed me - oo err

Looks as though they have just copied and pasted direct from the Storage Options website and added 2 after Scroll and 8" in the spec, so maybe it will actually be different and they are just wanting to get some interest going.

Exact same system, upgraded the screen and battery (probably an extra couple of cells with the extra room inside) tis all.. guessing will have the same crappy 2.1 with 1.02 fw on it so no marketplace on there either and it'll show up as a TC92xx demo board in the info I'm betting.

From the write up, it looks like they have increased the screen size, but little else has changed

I wonder what firmware it will be shipping with??

My local Maplins. Currently has two 8 inch Scroll's on display, both state that they come with 1.5 OS, but one is £169 and the other is £239 how. Strange ......

the ones you are looking at are most likely not scrolls, and some tablets do come with 1.5 OS - the new scroll comes with 2.1
