Quick question, I've got the emulator running fine but it doesn't open the google account wizard on start up...is there any way to implement this? I've tried going to settings>accounts and sync and adding an account but it treats it just like any other email so no luck there.

Excellent fix though once people figure it out, nice one!

You need to put this in the appropriate folder of the emulator

Not sure if you need to recreate the emulator, or if just putting it in there and booting will do it

When I plug in the Scroll it declares itself to be an Eclair tablet and looks for the drivers I point it to the google USB driver folder and it declares no driver found but the android_winusb.inf is there clearly I am missing something here

Thanks

the PID_ID for the Scroll might be missing from the android_winusb.inf you are using, try using this one instead:

thanks it certainly starts to install gets as far as

WdfCoInstaller01009.dll then says ....an error occurred during the installation of this device
parameter incorrect

In the USB folder is the i386 folder which contains
WdfCoInstaller01009.dll
WUDFUpdate_01009.dll
winusbcoinstaller2.dll

And the copyright notice

Some close!

You need to download the drivers from the SDK, and choose Android Composite ADB Device during the install

I have downloaded the drivers they show as google usb drivers.
I plug in the scroll and the new hardware window comes up. I point it to the google usb drivers file.It says it cant find driver but there is an inf file! How do I choose the Android Composite ADB device?

I look in Device manager and find I have an entry android phone and a Android Composite ADB device but the driver is listed as winUSB.sys

So I am stuck!

You have to manually give it the .inf file via Device manager > update driver > Have disk > select the .inf and it will give you the option of ADB Device

Ive got the drivers all installed it shows up in device manager as a "Android Phone-Android Composit ADB interface"
Im using win 7 32bit ive clockwork modded so i know it talks to the scroll ok.
