Are you connecting the scroll to the PC via USB and NOT mounting any drives ?

Are you opening the CMD window inside of the ADB folder ? Right click inside the folder holding shift and choose Open Command prompt here. ?

Tried the cmd window it's all ok and I went into the settings and unmounted all that I could. So I'm a bit stumped now. Any more ideas ??

Well from what I can see you are doing everything right, so the only issue I can think of is the drivers

Reinstall them ?

Yes, if this is your install location for SDK.

With the scroll connected - use this command at the end of the path c:\android\android-sdk-windows\tools>

adb logcat

or try using the same command, with the path c:\android\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools>

if it shows loads of info, then you are connected ok.
