Sounds like you do not have debugging mode on. Change the setting on the scroll. Go to Settings -> Applications -> Development, and check on “USB Debugging” to have ADB function properly.

Ok here are the ADB files and USB drivers that I am using right now, and they work - if you can not get it working with these there is something else wrong.
Ok I've put the whole thing on another pc running win7. I've got it all recognised and comunicating I've pushed the new android ID to the scroll but still no Market ?? I'll have to go back and try building the package again.... Thanks for your help guys, I hope the new package will work .... Cheers EDIT: I'll try the Market update first from the first post.
UPDATE: updated the Market.zip via CWM and now the Market crashes on opening ?? Says loading for about 3sec and then crashes. Any ideas ??

Hi All now I am sure I am doing something stupid but can not get the id to feed back to the scroll, i can see the scroll using the adb devices command but when I run adb shell sqlite3 /data/data/com.google.android.googleapps/databases/gls.db "update meta set intvalue=’new id’ where name=’androidId’"; it just returns the command prompt I have tried copy and pasteing direct to cmd but still the same issue help....
