Getting Root on your Scroll

we have a number of newbies here with us, once we are at the point of rooting clockwork mod installed and able to create a Nandroid backup of the device in its orginal state, can we create a full step by step instructions with pictures, so we don't leave people behind.

I will happily do that
I just dont actually have my scroll yet to test anything on

My rooting guide will hopefully be of some use also I was going to write a guide on how to flash clockwork/make a backup.

Perfect I'm no good at writing these guides, I sometimes miss steps out thinking everyone knows about that step etc etc, just about to apply the clockwork mod here goes.....

once you apply the clockwork mod can you try creating a nandroid backup? Its not actually been tested yet...

Cheers! I should be able to get an updated battery Icon in a few hours as an update.zip to try (at work atm and i need to get this laptop re-imaged as its screwed up)

I will also look at the build.prop and see if I can work any magic there (read fiddle with it)
