A new Scroll!

Hello one and all.

I'm happy to say I have a scroll.

We have a little boy who keep playing with out iPhones and thought it would be good to have a tabet so he can watch films and cartoons on long journeys.After a little research and point blank refusal to pay for an iPad, we decided that tablet was the very thing.

Maplins had 2 to choose from the Scroll and the Touchpad II.

One of the main reasons for choosing the scroll is this forum and the support it offers. After looking through the site it seem clear that the device is muched loved and can offer a lot. There was nothing out there for the Touchpad II and the fact that people here like and use the tablet and are modding it swayed me.

so to all the people here hello and keep on keeping on!.

Don't forget to install Samba. It will share your /nand/ (internal memory) on your LAN like any other system/drive
