Scroll has stopped playing avi's any solutions

Hi,

I am still finding my way around my Scroll 7. Initially it played avi's fine. A couple of day's ago I loaded up You Tube. Now it could be a co-incidence but at around the same time the Scroll began to only play the audio of the avi's and not the picture.

I have taken the You Tube download off the Scroll, just in case, but the avi's still only play audio but no picture.

Now I am not that computer literate, so I would appreciate any help or advice on this, but keep is as simple as possible please.

look in settings app, click sound & display /click output select /and then select "none"

Playing AVIs. Thanks, that sorted my problem too. I had set 'output' to HDMI and not reset it back - easily forgotten!

If it isn't that setting, just make sure that the files are still OK. I thought I had broken my video and I factory reset the scroll, only to find that my cheap SD card from ebay had corrupted the video files. They looked like they were there with the correct file size but they wouldn't play on the PC either.
