SD Card

Postby Hodge8 » March 25th, 2011, 11:21 am

Some of my apps do not recognise data on the SD card.

"Adobe Reader" 9.0.2 does not show the pdf's on the SD card.

"Documents to Go" 3.002 shows docs in /nand but reports that they are in /sdcard, and does not show the docs actually on the SD card.

Any suggestions ?

This is a bit of a confusing one - as youve seen.

A lot of programs regard the /nand as an sd card and need repointing towards to sd card itself.

For example, in the settings of some programs you can alter the directory it looks at so it is /sdcard not /nand - some will look at /nands by default. FBReader is an example of this behaviour.

I've just checked Adobe Reader. Tapping "PDF Files" does not show any files, even though I have a couple on my SD card. I suppose the workaround is to access the file with your favourite file manager.

And that workaround does work. But it is an irritation.

No, it's very limited. Menu gives you 'clear recent history' and 'about adobe reader'.
