InSSIDer is freeware, it must be used with a wifi enabled pc/laptop (supports most but not alll wifi cards)

The libspeech.so file you mentioned should stay the same, its not an apk file

Hi,
I have rooted the Scroll and am trying to rename the files in the system/app
folder. I cannot find the file phone.apk; is it the file Dailer.apk ?
Thanks.

Usually you would have /system/app/Phone.apk. Note the capital P.

Just a quick thanks to everyone on the forum who has contributed to the Root/clockwork/pmt/build.prop discussions.

Why? I've just completed them all on my Scroll without a single hitch,

Oh. The market still doesn't work..... I'll still have to continue getting them via my phone.

Done it. Rooted as instructed. Thanks to all in the forum for the helpful advice. But....

I notice a post from WarpedFlash saying "root, then clockwork, then backup, then phone apk mod."

I've rooted and done the phone apk rename (PMT) bit. Is it OK to do to clockwork and other mods now?

Thanks again for all the help here.

It would have been better to do it in the order suggested by Warpedflash. If you create a backup now it will only contain the renamed apk's from the phone mod
