Transferring music files from PC to Scroll

Sorry to show immense ignorance, but I'm a total Scroll newbie and after a week of hopeless fiddling I could do with some help.

Although I seem to have sorted out most aspects of the Scroll, I simply can't work out how to transfer music to it from my PC. The mounted USB connection works nicely and I can see the Scroll's directory structure on the PC and can even send files to it.

What I can't do though is get the transferred files to play from the Scroll and part of the problem - I think - is that I am not sure where I should place the transferred files in any case. I'm not even sure if I need a special app to get the music flowing so all advice would be greatly appreciated. Having said that in all other respects I think the Scroll is a great little device which I'm enjoying immensely. As I said all help will be more than welcome. Best, Bill

Depending on which player you choose. (I use winamp) you can put the mp3 files anywhere (create a folder) then you cañ set the power to scan the sdcard for music which will be added to the playlist

Hi again Jimmy,

Tried Winamp as you suggested and found I could sync it to my PC. Worked a treat - after a little bit of fiddling and Tablet is now playing music perfectly.Thanks again for your help.

PS. I also discovered the free 'Tune In Radio' app. Worth its weight in gold for anyone seriously interested in high quality streaming music - all countries, all genres, pretty well every important station from major cities. Spectacular!

I have copied songs into a folder in the external (removable) SD card but Winamp does not
pick up the folder. I cannot play songs loaded in the external SD card. Have I missed something ?

I had this with winamp at one point. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it is quite happily finding all my music in sdcard/music.

Still can't play songs from the SD card after uninstall and install.
I am now using a folder based player - Mortplayer.
